She is the matriach of our herd, our Foundation mare, and one of our best and most consistent producers. All her foals have size, type and good old morgan smarts ! She has produced foals that have gone on to be amazing performers in just about all divisions and won championships at just about all levels including the World Championship Show in Oklahoma City. Others have gone on to be life long family members and most of her fillies have become amazing additions to quality broodmare bands.

Contessa just never ceases to amaze us, and has taken to motherhood and a partial show career like a real trooper. She is a proven show mare with wins In hand, English Pleasure and Pleasure Driving. She was the Jr Champion English Pleasure winner at the Canadian National Show and well as many class A wins. She has the size, movement and overall good looks that we were looking for, and we can't wait to see the foals she will produce for us. • Pure Country Love Song

(Adiel's Casino Gold X SFM Silhoutte) 2001 Buckskin Mare (Picture/Pedigree) "Sassy" came to us from Pure Country Morgans in Wyoming in 2005, and she has been a terrific addition to our mare band. She is gorgeous, very sweet, unflappable and a joy to work with. She was bred to UVM Thomise for a 2006 foal, and although we didn't get a colorful baby, we got an amazing baby. So much so, we repeated the cross for 2007.This time we got an amazing Buckskin colt, and re-bred Sassy to Thomise for a repeat in 2008 getting another gorgeous bay filly. These foals are beautiful western pleasure prospects and we look forward to the first one hitting the show ring in 2010.

(Red Rose Gold Eddie x Lone Dove Rosie Bell SRD) 2001 Palomino Mare (Picture/Pedigree) One of my first Morgans back in the '80's was a Palomino sired by Aeolus Walker, and since we started breeding under the 'Coulee Bend' banner back in '95, I have been hoping to add a nice big, sport moving Palomino mare to our breeding program. Dody is that mare !! This 15.1HH mare has such great movement and ground covering trot, she is exactly what we were looking for.

(UVM Thomise X Vonavet Fine Design) 2002 Bay Mare (Pictures/Pedigree) 'Tory' started her show ring venture at the 2003 Alberta Morgan Show where she won Reserve Champion Futurity Yearling against all sexes. She then went on the win a 'Classic Alberta Bred' rating at the Government sponsored Alberta Horse Improvement Program ! Her performance career in Western Pleasure has been great and she finished off the year with Top Ten wins at the World Show in Oklahoma !! We are very happy to be retaining Tory for our broodmare band.

(CW's Silver Ash X Triple S Firefly) 2004 Grey Mare (Picture/Pedigree) We are excited to add this gray mare to our breeding program ! She was one of only TWO gray morgans in Canada, and the ONLY ONE in Western Canada when we brought her in as a two year old. She is a super sweet mare, with incredible movement and just loves to be worked with. Ash has a gorgeous, big, buggy eye, long neck, great top line, smooth body, and is just what we were looking for to add to our breeding program. The long search was worth it !!

  Wow - is all we can say about this cross !! This filly has stolen our hearts and is everything we had hoped for out of these two great show horses !! Gorgeous head and neck, super topline, and a definate show horse attitude ! Currently standing 15.1HH as a three yr old, Kachina has definately made herself known in the showring. She has had wins in Pleasure Driving as a three year old, and in her last show made her debut under saddle. At the Alberta Morgan Horse Show in September, Kachina won the 3 yr old Performance FUTURITY class, as well as the Three yr old English Pleasure class and was Res. Champion Jr English pleasure horse !! Not a bad start to her Saddle career !

  'Kendee' is a sweet bay filly out of the proven cross of Thomise and Fine Design. Her full siblings, Coulee Bend Historian and Coulee Bend Illusion have both been Futurity In Hand Res. Champions, and are just now entering the performance arena. Kendee is a very leggy filly with gorgeous chiseled face and an abundance of mane and tail. Kendee has been shown in 2008 to wins in Western Pleasure AND Hunter Pleasure, including Stake class and Championship wins, showing her versatility and great way of going - you will definately be seeing more of this young mare in the future.

  'Kari' is an absolute doll. Dishy face, gorgeous topline, and wonderful movement. This wonderful filly is sired by UVM Thomise and out of a Pot of Gold daughter - with her incredibly breeding it was easy to decide to keep her for our breeding program - check out the pedigree !! Kari was trained to drive in the spring of her 3 yr old year, and is a wonderful driving mare. Very steady, reliable, bold, and a thrill to drive - both her parents were amazing driving horses, and Kari is definately following in their hoofsteps.

  (Pictures/Pedigree) Vana is a first for our farm - our first Cremello - and we were lucky enough to get a filly too !!! Vana will definately be a keeper here at Coulee Bend. Vana is a huge, cremello (double dilute) filly who will produce palomino, buckskin and smokey black foals in the future. She is long legged, short backed, has a nice long neck with a very pretty head and good solid legs. With her nice athletic movement, and great extensions, she looks destined to be a gorgeous western/hunter pleasure mare.

  (Pictures/Pedigree) Mez is an absolutely gorgeous filly, with her big, buggy eyes and wonderful personality - her rare coloring is just an added bonus !! Mez arrived in late September from Mirabella Farm in Minnesota and we couldn't be more pleased with her. We hope to show Mez in Western Pleasure before she takes her place in our mare band at which time she will surely produce some spectacular babies for us. Her breeding goes back to: Equinox Beaubrook, Deer Run Command, Noble Command, Pecos and so much more !!
